Jonathan and Linnea Ransom’s story together began seventeen years ago when they were married on July 31, 2004 in a sweet little church in Franklin Lakes, NJ. God truly blessed them with three beautiful children since those days: Emma (11), Johnny (6) and Owen (4).

After five years in the Marine Corps (1998-2003), Jon graduated from Davis College in Binghamton, NY and then went on to attain a M.Div. degree from Baptist Bible Seminary in Clark Summit, PA in May, 2012.  He served as a youth and associate pastor for five years (2007-2012) at Faith Bible Church in Binghamton NY.   In February of 2013, Jon and his family moved to Jacksonville, NC, to join the team working together to plant Pillar Church of Jacksonville. One year later, Pillar Jacksonville sent the Ransoms to Oceanside, CA, to partner with the Martinez family for the purpose of planting Pillar Church of Oceanside. In early 2016, Pillar Church of Oceanside sent the Ransoms to Japan to plant Pillar Church of Okinawa.

They have been serving at Pillar Okinawa (www.pillarokinawa.com) for the last five + years and have thoroughly enjoyed their time exploring Okinawa and meeting its many beautiful people.
