By the grace of God alone, all of Jon’s family and all of Linnea’s family were able to gather for reunions this summer. Jon’s family gathered in Clark Summit, PA for a week in July and were able to take photos at the Steamtown train museum in Scranton. The kids really had a blast connecting with their cousins and getting a chance to make memories with all of the family. We spent fourth of July watching an abundance of local fireworks being set off. It was a sweet night having a bonfire, setting off sparklers, eating marshmallows, and generally an all American night for our families.

In August, Linnea’s whole family was able to meet up in the Catskill mountains, in NY for a few days. We loved being able to see them all in one place, something that hasn’t happened since 2012. We enjoyed eating lots of yummy food, sharing some new games, watching the kids who have grown like weeds running around, seeing a beautiful park in the Catskills, even getting the chance to enjoy Six Flags together now that all our kids are older! We also had the chance to take family photos and are really grateful for the sweet memories with all of them.
